Gas Safe and Corgi Registered Engineers Manchester
We carryout gas and electrical safety inspections for homeowners, landlords and property management agents, providing a landlords gas safety certificate on completion if required. The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1994 (as amended) place duties on gas consumers, installers, suppliers and landlords. All gas appliances/associated pipe works, flues, heaters must be checked annually for safety.

We are a Gas Safe Registered installation company specializing in all types of gas safety certificates. The gas safety certificate that we provide is given after we test all the appliances as required by the law.

Gas Safe Register replaced Corgi registration in Great Britain from 1st April, 2009. By law, anyone carrying out work on gas installations and appliances in your home must be on the Gas Safe Register. Be gas safe – always use a Gas Safe registered engineer. Always ask to see their Gas Safe Register ID card.

We cover all of the Greater Manchester area. Our Gas Safe registration number is 190035 and it can be checked by clicking here. It is a legal requirement that the gas safety certificate must have been completed by a Gas Safe Registered contractor. You should check that the contractor is registered by contacting Gas Safe Register on their website or on telephone number 0800 408 5500.

They must also be able to provide you with an identity card. We have also been on the panel of approved British Gas contractors. We have over 20 years of electric and 20 years of gas experience.

Introduction to Gas Safe Register

Check that your engineer is qualified to work on your gas appliance. Not all engineers are qualified to carry out all types of gas work. Make sure you check the qualifications on the back of their ID card to make sure they are competent to work on your appliance.
